New kid Drake wants to (help) “Find your love”

To the majority of Europe, Drake is still somewhat an unknown, hip-hop’s ‘best kept secret’ so to speak. However, in the U.S.A. he is the hottest newcomer on the hip-hop stage today.

Aubrey Drake Graham, aged 23, is from Toronto, Canada. His first taste of the media business came in 2001 as an actor in the Canadian soap opera „Degrassi: The Next Generation“, in which he played the role of a basketball star, who is forced to quit his career after being hit by a bullet. His musical talent was discovered by rapper Lil Wayne, who signed him up on his music label „Young Money Entertainment“. Drake also became a member of the label’s group, „YoungMoney“, which features acts such as Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Gudda Gudda and Lil Wayne himself. Drake’s debut album, „Thank Me Later“, was released last autumn and took the top spot in the U.S. album charts.

The album even features the popular song, „Find your love“. The single undeniably shows off Drake’s voice, which is easy on the ear and accompanied by a catchy melody, certain to make this a hit of 2010.

On vinyl, you find your love on the B-side of Drakes US-Promo 12” single to “Over” with an “Intro Edit” and a third song from the “Thank Me Later”-LP, “Zone”. On the A-side there is the original version of “Over” plus the instrumental and a Hyper Crush Remix.
